Jaycee Park Ontario St – Old Welland Canal Locks – Bridge Walkway to Port Dalhousie St Catharines  – Bon Jovi, Rock Music

the idea girl says

wow this bridge will save most people about an hour’s walking time.

Now you’ll have to check on google maps how to take the short cuts from the streets up to ontario st.

This park is between Linwell Rd lights and Lock St/Lakeport Rd lights.

Across from those pretty condos for seniors.

Parking – lots of room, only till dusk 6 to 8 pm (SUCKS)

So use it during the morning, afternoon walks and hikes

lots of dogs walking here, and paths to roller blade or ride your bicycles on.

The bridge is wide enough for bicycles, no motorized vehicles allowed.

The path goes across the Martindale Pond where they hold the Henley Regatta every year.

It comes out to that island where there’s loads of geese, ducks and a few swans.

(bring your bags of bread and feed the birdies)

You will walk across from the parking lot by Tim Horton’s across from the red brick building that used to be Lincoln Fabrics Factory in Port Dalhousie on Lock Street.
